17 Apr. Played a few tacks for the launch of celebrations for the 150th anniversary
of the Ulster Hall. Un-American, our tribute to Paul Robeson, will take place
on the 12th of May, exactly 150 years to the day, of the opening of the
Grand Dame.
21 Mar. Build My Gallows High and Soviet Hotel Dressing Gown played on Radio
Trojka, Poland
Jan’12 Rehearsals have started for the show, “Un-American” (working title).
As part of the 150th anniversary of the Ulster Hall, The Sons and guests
will be peforming revised versions of songs sang by Paul Robeson, who
graced the venue with his voice and prescence on several occasions.
The show will take place in May ‘12, date still to be confirmed.
12 Dec. Jack and Morgan in Berlin at the Akademie Der Kunst, viewing the Paul
Robeson archives. Great city. Thanks to the Arts Council NI and the ADK.
